The Battles of Ohio: Early Voting, Voter Fraud, & the Fights about Ohio’s Voting Rules
As part of the CWRU School of Law lecture series, Professor David Carney will review the historical and legal landscape of Ohio’s voting rules, covering how those rules have changed, and both the stated and unstated reasons for those changes. Are recent changes intended to rein in voter fraud, or just make it more difficult to vote? Professor Carney will discuss the evidence behind both sides of the partisan debate, and discuss how the Voting Rights Act applies to the battles of Ohio.
