Description
The Eighth District Court of Appeals, in partnership with the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, is offering an all-day CLE, featuring Eighth District Court of Appeals Judges and staff attorneys, along with neighboring appellate judges, esteemed practitioners, legal scholars and representatives from several clerks’ offices. The seminar will focus on advanced topics in civil and criminal appeals. In summary, this program will focus on civility among appellate lawyers and the duty of candor to the tribunal under the Ohio Rules of Professional Conduct and the State and Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure. Six and a quarter hours of CLE (including one hour of professional conduct) have been approved. Six and a quarter specialty hours toward OSBA appellate law certification have been approved
