Bill 96: Complying with Quebec's Strengthened French Language Protections

In May 2022, Quebec’s National Assembly passed Bill 96– An Act respecting French, the official and common language of Quebec – which amends the Charter of the French Language from 1977. Bill 96 makes the French language more prominent in Quebec and has a wide-ranging impact on companies with operations in the province, including French proficiency, adhesion contracts, internal and external communications, hiring processes, trademarks, immigration, and more.
